YOU: Stress Less

Found this book at the library and I say it was just in time. 

Living in a fast-paced environment (as they say), being a stay-at-home-mom with kids facing PSLE and year-end results-based class promotion (in addition to other SAHM responsibilities), I could say I am always under a lot of stress and would LOVE to learn more about how to handle (if not eradicate) it better.

Entitled YOU: Stress Less... The owner's manual for regaining balance in your life, by Michael F. Roizen, MD and Mehmet C. Oz, MD, the book gives an insight on what stress is (and is not) and how we could handle it better and use it to our advantage.

If you are familiar with the TV show The Dr. Oz Show then you will probably have an idea how this book was written - filled with facts/information but delivered in an interesting way I was not bored reading about health issues :)

The doctors (authors) gave 75 valuable tips to reverse the effects of stress categorized into 8 stress-management techniques listed below:
There is also a bonus - the You Stress Management Plan - which enumerated several stress strategies and a 14-day de-stress plan. On top of this, the Appendix of the book still had more tips to share.
